Charlene Tilton Appears On New 'Dallas' (2012)

Charlene Tilton on revamped "Dallas"
Charlene Tilton is back on "Dallas."

The actress made the fans of the show excited when she appeared on the pilot episode of the new "Dallas" series on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

Charlene Tilton, now 53, played the role of Lucy Ewing, the sly, vixenish, frequently frustrated granddaughter of Jock Ewing, in the original "Dallas" series from 1978 to 1985 and from 1988 to 1990. The portrayal made Tilton incredibly popular. She even landed on the cover of People magazine several times.

However, it is not yet certain if Tilton's appearance on the revamped "Dallas" on Wednesday was just a one-time cameo or not.

Meanwhile, the "Dallas" reboot has proved a hit in the US. Its debut episode on TNT attracted an average of 6.8 million viewers, securing the highest ratings for the premiere of a scripted series on a cable channel this year.

'Game Of Thrones' Creators Explain Decapitated George W. Bush Head

"Game Of Thrones" scene featuring fake head of Bush
"Game of Thrones" creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said they were not making any political statement when they featured a decapitated head resembling former US President George W. Bush in a scene.

"It's not a choice, it's not a political statement. We just had to use whatever heads we had lying around," they explained. "We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etcetera. We can't afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush."

They added: "We meant no disrespect to the former president and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise."

Home Box Office (HBO), meanwhile, has released a statement addressing the graphic prop choice.

"We were deeply dismayed to see this and find it unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste," the network said. "We made this clear to the executive producers of the series who apologized immediately for this inadvertent careless mistake."

HBO added that the scene would be removed from future DVD production.

Jewel fixes teeth? (Twitter)
Jewel posted a photo of herself with "perfect teeth" on Twitter on Tuesday.

"Here I am as June in my trailer with her blue eyes and perfect teeth," Jewel wrote with the accompanying photo which shows her sporting blue contact lenses and a dark wig.

The singer-actress, however, did not reveal whether or not she had her teeth fixed or if she was just wearing dental prosthesis in the photo.

Battleship movie bombs at US box office

Battleship movie bombs
Battleship movie is officially the second bomb in Taylor Kitsch's career.

After "John Carter," Kitsch latest film also performed poorly at the box office.

The Peter Berg-helmed action movie is estimated to have cost somewhere between $207 and $250 million to produce but reports say it only raked in roughly $50 million in the United States so far.

"Battleship," which also stars Liam Neeson and Rihanna, has, however, grossed $232.7 million globally, but funding studio and Comcast unit Universal will still be losing cash after marketing and other costs are covered.

"It is not quite the epic disaster of John Carter, but this will put a dent in Comcast's quarter," said Matthew Harrigan of Wunderlich Securities, who follows Comcast.

The studio is hoping that "Snow White and the Huntsman" would be a hit with audiences when it opens this weekend.

"John Carter," which cost over $250 million to produce, reportedly saddled Disney with a $200 million loss.

Kitsch has now officially had his shot at superstardom. He still has the Oliver Stone directed Savages to come later in the year, but perhaps we can't expect to see him headlining a blockbuster anytime soon.

Lil Wayne Denied Entry To Thunder-Spurs Game

Lil Wayne Denied Entry To Basketball Game
Lil Wayne turned to Twitter after being denied entry to an NBA game on Thursday.

"Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!" Lil Wayne tweeted.

The Grammy-winning rapper said he usually buys tickets for such games "from this guy named Mike." But Mike told him that the team responded that they would only sell the seats for Mike’s personal use.

Lil Wayne said a manager had advised him not to return to the city’s arena for sports events or concerts, but "I never say never."

A representative for Oklahoma City Thunder told TMZ that Wayne was not denied to watch the game between OCT and San Antonio Spurs. He explained that there were no court side tickets available, which the rapper insisted to have.

It was earlier reported that OCT player James Harden had asked his bosses to ban Lil Wayne from attending further games, following rumors that the rapper had hooked up with Harden's girlfriend Trina.

Trina and Lil Wayne dated several years ago, but they reportedly hooked up at a party in May where Lil Wayne declared his love for her on stage.

Hatfields & McCoys Poster (History Channel)
"Hatfields & McCoys" premiere episode is now the number 1 non-sporting telecast in ad-supported cable history after attracting 13 million viewers.

2 Chainz (Twitter)
2 Chainz was arrested at the LaGuardia Airport in New York on Tuesday after a pair of "brass knuckles" was found in his possession.

Police officers took 2 Chainz into custody for misdemeanor possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.

When news spread about the rapper's arrest, his friends Big Sean and DJ Drama clarified on Twitter what they think what was really in 2 Chainz' bag.

"2 chainz ain't have no brass knuckles, it was a 4 finger ring that spelled hood. We had a shoot yesturday n he was rockin em.(sic)" Big Sean tweeted.

DJ Rama, meanwhile, attached a photo of 2 Chainz wearing the jewelry to a tweet saying, "U mean that 4finger ring type brass knuckles? Oh. Ok. #free2chainz @2chainz."

It was indeed just a four-finger ring and the rapper was later released that night after spending some hours behind bars.
