Titled 'The Sexy Issue', Vibe magazine enlists the break out stars of Reality TV's most talked about shows for their June/July cover story. Kandi, Of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Tamar Braxton, of WeTV's Braxton Family Values. Evelyn Lozada, of Basketball Wives Miami and Chrissy Lampkin of VH1's Love & Hip Hop.

VIBE opens the floor to the four leading ladies in hopes of gaining insight on how these women down their portrayal on television. Check out some experts from the issue below...

Tamar chimes in when VIBE asks Evelyn if she's embarrassed seeing her screaming, 'court case catching' outbursts on screen

Tamar: [Interjects] No. It’s television entertainment and at the end of the day that’s what matters. The networks want what makes the papers. But we’re blessed to be in a situation to show people a part of our life, to see us going through different changes, how we can be a better person. People can learn from our mistakes. I’m sure Evelyn didn’t get on TV and want to throw a bottle at somebody. But hey, that’s life. So maybe the next time somebody gets you out of your character you’ll know not to throw a bottle.

Kandi, on how she manages to stay out of the drama

Kandi: I’m just doing me. It takes a lot to push my buttons. That’s just who I am.

Tamar, on why she pops off at the mouth so much

Tamar: I’m not like that with my girlfriends, though. If we’re all out, I’m more outgoing, more fun. I’m not poppin’ off. I’m just not gonna mess up my face [laughs]. But on the series [spin-off] with [my husband] Vince, you’ll see me in a friendship setting. I’m just as passionate. I’m not just gonna fight. I’m not gonna be a donkey. I’m definitely gonna give you my opinion because I feel like that’s why you love me.

Tami Roman Stops Playing With Her Twitter

She gon' and may never come back!

Over the past few weeks it's probably safe to assume that it's been hard for Tami Roman amidst the backlash of her actions towards BBW cast member Kesha Nichols.

 As we reported earlier, Tami apologised after this weeks episode of the Basketball Wives Miami and took responsibility for her actions. But as reunion pics begin to surface and now Tami deleting her Twitter account, is it safe to say she wont be returning Season 5? Or are we just jumping the gun? Either way, I still have love for Tami and I hope she addresses this Kesha, bullying issue on the reunion show, gets better and hopefully people can move on from it.

Can't believe she deleted her Twitter account tho, people must have cut her real deep. =(

Tami Roman Apologises

Upon seeing the latest episode of Basketball Wives Miami, I was very disappointed and appalled by Tami Roman's actions. And it seems, she was also.

As soon as the latest Basketball Wives episode aired, Twitter was going off about Tami's actions towards cast member Kesha. People calling her a bully, several trending topics saying all members played a part in this.

As the show came to it's closing credits, Tami took it to her Twitter as she landed in New York to acknowledge her actions and apologise.

I just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature-I apologize...


I'm not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it. I do apologizee 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members


The supporters who have been there, I'm sorry I let U down-this was not handled properly & I felt bad THEN and now.


I simply ask that U b respectful 2my kids-they R NOT on BBW & do not control my actions on the show. Don't become what U criticze.


I would have blogged this but I wanted 2 address it as soon as I landed. Accept it or not, I acknowledge & apologize to ALL involved.

No doubt will they address this again at the reunion, but damn Tami! I forgive you. Do y'all?

Basketball Wives: Season 4 Episode 13

Royce READS Tami Roman

And she goes INN!

In the latest episode of BBW Miami, we saw the cast members take a trip to the beautiful Tahiti. What we also saw, apart from Royce's cheese dipped ugly cry, was the drama that went down with the ongoing drama between cast members, Tami and Kesha.

We all had our feelings towards the situation but it's none other than fellow cast member Royce Reed, who refused to go on the trip, who really reads into Tami's actions and tells it, like it is.

“I was honestly just hoping Kesha didn’t say her skin hurt. Tami seemed as though she was trying to find something to get upset about and she chose a cough. From the way the girls were seated in the car, to laughing and making faces behind Kesha’s back if you take a screen capture from that scene and mine from the van in Spain, it’s almost identical. 

I’m not sure what happened to Tami, but this isn’t the woman I’ve gotten to know. To see these women gang up on someone who has done nothing to them is embarrassing. I say ganging up because NO ONE did anything to stop it. If you don’t say anything you then become part of the problem. Who cares if Kesha was scared to get in the ocean with sharks and stingrays, I don’t believe I saw any of your a**es in a swimsuit jumping in the water either. How are you going to call someone else scary when at least they put on the attire instead of saying “Oh Hell NO” in confessionals????? 

 I applaud Suzie and Kesha for appreciating what Tahiti had to offer and attempting to stay drama free. I find it amazing when alcohol is used as liquid courage and an excuse to turn into the HULK. Most times I drink, I get emotional, horny, and just want to dance…..:side-eye: lol. But if you know that drinks cause you to have a temper, why indulge just because everyone else is? The whole scene with Tami and Kesha I shook my head. At some point you have to look at yourself and say “Damn, that wasn’t a good look. I need to change the way I speak to people and handle things because I look crazy.” If you don’t see it, your “so-called” friends have and should tell you the same. Tami, if Evelyn and Shaunie found no problem with Kesha’s questions, it wasn’t up to you to find one. Tami, if you HEARD Kesha said all these things about you, why not call out the person who told you so you can get all three parties together. 

I’m sure THAT PERSON was probably sitting at that table. I have an idea of two people who could’ve said it. One is known to talk a lot, and the other is a snake in the grass. If you’re going based off the footage that was shown, Kesha said “I seriously had to just NOT go off…and honestly, like, I could’ve came at Tami and said whatever I wanted to but there’s nothing I could’ve said that would’ve made her look worse than she was making herself look…Tami is like acting a fool” …She never said she wanted to, so why are you asking her to now??? The smirking on the side by Evelyn and Shaunie is a DAMN SHAME. Grown as women talking about a damn position! Grown ass women wanting to fight with no repercussions!I HEARD about what happened in Tahiti but seeing it now is an embarrassment and the sh!t is PISSING ME OFF!!!! GROWN ASS AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN feeding into the stereotype already placed on us…plus two!!!!!!!!”
