자신을 겨눈 화살들을 향해 걷기 시작한 이도, 화살은 다행히 이도를 피해 과녁을 맞추고, 결국 태종 앞 계단 앞까지 와서는데. 이 때 갑자기 태종 앞에 무릎을 꿇은 이도는 살려만 달라며 목숨을 구걸한다. 이도는 자신의 무례에 대한 용서를 구하며 오직 아바마마의 뜻대로 모든 것을 하겠다 하고 태종은 그런 이도의 태도에서 진심이 담겨있지 않음을 느낀다. 태종은 이도에게 자신의 뜻대로 무엇을 할것이냐 묻는다.
이도는 현량한 젊은 학자들과 함께 조그만 전각을 지어 경전을 배우고 익히며 아바마마를 보필하겠다하고, 태종은 그 전각의 이름을 집현이라 지어주는데...

Lee Do begins to move towards the archers, the archers’ arrow is directed at Lee Do, but fortunately none of them hits him, and continues to walk until he steps right in front of King Taejong. Suddenly, Lee Do kneels before King Taejong begging to spare his life. Lee Do apologizes to Taejong, asks for his forgiveness because of his reckless behavior, and promises to act according to Taejong’s wishes. But Taejong discerns from Lee Do’s attitude that he is insincere. Taejong asks Lee Do, if he follows his every wish, what will Lee Do do?
Lee Do replies that he will invite all the virtuous young scholars to build a hall, learning the classics of Confucius, be his assistant, so with that being said Taejong names the hall as the Hall of Worthies.
